Geographical location
Verbier is located in the hearth of the
Swiss Alps, in the French part of
Switzerland. With so many interesting

Visa entry requirements
South African passport holders do not
require a visa to visit Switzerland and
can navigate throughout the country for

The local currency is Swiss Francs

bills. 5, 10, 19 and 50 centimes coins; 1, 2
and 5 franc coins are also in circulation.

your close friends, or to please yourself,
go zigzagging between artisan’s shops.
Accommodation

to accommodation in the Venus chalet, which
has a prime location in Verbier – 80m from
the main lift station. The chalet comprises
of the following:
- 4 apartments sleeping 7 people in 3 twin
rooms and 1 single room, with 2 full
bathrooms.
- 1 apartment sleeping 3 people in 1 twin
and one single room, with one full bathroom.
- 1 apartment with fireplace on the top
floor, sleeping 9 people in 4 twin rooms and
1 single room, with 3 full bathrooms.
Each apartment has a kitchen, dining area
and lounge with balcony; TV, DVD, video and
music system.
Meals are prepared in the chalet by the chef
and served by the chalet hostesses. A full
English breakfast is served daily in each
apartment. Five 3 course dinners per week
are prepared and served by the chef and
chalet hostesses, with house wine included.
Sample the Verbier nightlife on two nights
of the week, when you can enjoy dinner at
one of the local restaurants and up the
mountain for a cheese fondue and return by
Ski bob.
